Overview

“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” Elliott Erwitt

Children's photography offers a variety of learning experiences in which they awaken their curiosity and identity. There are other benefits such as learning a new skill that can increase children's self-esteem, foster planning and presentation skills, show their potential through creativity and innovation, as well as provide them with the opportunity to communicate their ideas, thoughts and feelings among others. This is the perfect photography course for anyone brand new to photography.

Join us, during these 6 weeks of adventure projects. An amazing course for aspiring photographers to learn how to use a camera properly and develop their innovative soul. This project-based class is ideal for children, home schoolers, and anyone wanting to learn about photography in a fun way.

What is it that we do?

We start everyday with a new photography lesson that we will develop. The group will view and discuss images to understand concepts and give ideas on what to shoot. Students will then have their moment for exploration and take pictures based on the concept learned. After this, each student will choose their top 3 pictures of the day and save them in their final portfolio.

What do you need?

All you would need is any type of digital camera (a smartphone could also work) and a computer (Mac or Windows).
