Connect & Learn NASA Week

Overview

When we talk about space, we talk about creativity, curiosity, science, physics and adventure. NASA week will allow our young astronauts to explore the universe, understand how it works and open up their minds to the sciences, technology, mathematics and its various uses. They will look up at the sky and understand what lies beyond what their eyes see.

Just like their future, maybe one day become an astronaut.

What is it that we do?

In this camp students develop their imagination, scientific approach, and innovation. Each day we explore a different topic, during class we use videos, books, and pictures so students can adequately visualize the topic of the day. Through age appropriate trivia games, we can see our students' understanding of topics discussed during the week.

POWER DANCE! We take a brain break, by dancing we take a moment to be silly, share, laugh and most importantly enjoy some more.

Art helps develop motor skills, make innovative decisions. Each day children will work on an art project related to what they learned that day. For this we recommend to always have basic arts and crafts kits at home, this kit can include: markers, white pages, scissors, glue, pencils, glue and construction paper.

Hear what past attendees have said about the workshop

“NASA week was awesome. My son was super excited for participating. They learned a lot about space while doing fun activities for example art and crafts, watching videos, and even pretending to launch their own rocket! The teachers are very professional, nice, and fun. It was definitely a great experience!”Denise Alba, Weston , Fl
